2022 RMC Homecoming Week by Sydney Weaver

This week marks Rocky’s 2022 Homecoming Week. This year the week is full of events, starting with a women’s flag football game on Wednesday, September 21. Thursday is full of events for students, including the Bear Feed and a pep rally from 5:30 to 6:30 on the Green. A Spikeball tournament will follow shortly after.

Rocky Mountain College and the Institute for Peace Studies host the Festival of Cultures: Photo story by Mette Fears of the Summit

Festival of Cultures was held in Veteran’s Park on Saturday, Aug. 28. The event was run by the Institute for Peace Studies’ director Mary Hernandez. There were booths including local non-profits, various religions, yarn creation demonstrations, and food. Booths were accompanied by presentations including a TeePee raising, Native American dancing, and an evening concert.
