Festival of Cultures was held in Veteran’s Park on Saturday, Aug. 28. The event was run by the Institute for Peace Studies’ director Mary Hernandez. There were booths including local non-profits, various religions, yarn creation demonstrations, and food. Booths were accompanied by presentations including a TeePee raising, Native American dancing, and an evening concert.

Congratulations to the women’s basketball team, bringing home the 2022 Frontier Conference Championship! The Bears finished the season 24-4 and will head into the conference tournament as the Number One Seed.
